Press Release from Streaming Media, and a few other things.

From the people at Streaming Media Network:

"To gear up for Season Four of HITMAN, Streaming Media presents a new character blog: http://seniorliaisongina.blogspot.com/. We sincerely hope you enjoy this new look into the world of HITMAN."

According to a source, the 2nd episode is now being scored. I expect that means it will be available within the next week or so, hopefully. The Shneak was lucky enough to present on the set of one of the last scenes for which Mr. Noa needed extras. She's not at liberty to give us any details, but did tell me it was a very exciting scene, and she was glad to be able to add a little "multicultural ambience" to the background of the action. :-)

A source has informed me that there are currently talks about a possible Hitman: Season 5. It appears that Paul Shippy and Jeremiah Lorrig do not wish to return, but Daniel Noa, our directorial ham, doesn't want to stop making hitman. It seems that former supporting characters will take the forefront, with CTA Communications specialist Ming Fei as the primary protaganist. The Hitman will of course return. David Carver will also apparently be reprising his role as a CTA computer specialist in the first episode, and act as a counselor to Fei. It also appears that Daniel asked Emily Thomson to be apart of it, but she decline to do anything other than a few flashbacks. Will Daniel kill of Red Fox in a flashback? How will the events of Season 4 fit into this? Can Hitman survive with an almost entirely new cast?
You're thoughts?

I am not so sure on a season 5. Don't get me wrong. I love Hitman. But, sometimes it is just time to move on.

Although I don't know how all the casting would work out, I'd love to see Hitman continue - I had actually been hoping that it would go to a season 5.

I would like seeing David Carver in it a lot more. So in that respect I'd like a Season 5. I don't know if there would be enough tension without Red Fox.

Don't forget, originally Hitman was a much darker show and the main protaginist was the Hitman, not Fox. Then they got sidetracked with the whole stupid Fox's wife thing. As I understood it, it supposed to be about a hitman and the "good" antagonists he kept running into, and defeating. Maybe getting rid of Fox will let them get back to the promise of the show's first season.

Maybe I'm out of it here - but the idea of a CTA Communications specialist as the protagonist of a new Hitman seems somewhat - corny. In other words, perhaps I'm the only one who saw the comment about a new Hitman season as a total joke (which it is, I'm pretty sure). I agree with SP Live - time to move on.

P.S. "Directorial ham"? Was that supposed to be a critique?

Yeah, guys, sorry to have to break it to you, but I think the first comment was a joke. "Ming Fei" (aka Ben Fan) had a small part in the scene in which I was an extra. Let it go to his head, I assume :-D
I have it from several very-good-and-high-up sources that Hitman will not be returning, as Mr. Noa intends to shoot an all-new feature film in the coming year. So, we can say goodbye to Red Fox, he's been great, and look forward to new and different artistic endeavors from Streaming Media network.

Just for the record, no definitive decisions have been reached on the future of Hitman. The Sneek is in error (as usual).

WOW! I just watched High Treason and can't wait for the next episode.
As to the future of Hitman, I would say the cast and crew will have the best take on whether it would be best to continue Hitman or start afresh with a new plot and storyline. It seems that after a while a storyline will become "tired", if you will, and the cast will be ready to try something new. If that turns out to be the case, I look forward to watching whatever the great folks at the Streaming Media Network turn out.

Hah! This first episode was so funny. :) Vocelli shows up in Checnya, prez staff chew the fat, the two Emily's discuss their affection for Fox... um, lots of random scenes and actions add to general plot development... yeah, it was hilarious. The best part is showing it to siblings who only get an occasional episode here and there and have NO idea what's happening in the increasing conveluted plot. Wow - it's great fun. :)

I watched Hitman through season 2 because of Nelson and Ben Adam's characters - they made the show worth watching. Since then I watch out of force of habit. Still, Fox's move for vengeance has made it somewhat interesting (I always love vengeance themes) and the last episode was just... wacked. :) Hopefully the next few will make sense of the overall picture.

Amused,

- Josh G.

Rumor mill has it that the last episode of Season 4, entitled "Reckoning" will not be completed on schedule. There is just too much music left to be done before the end of the semester. Since the beginning, Mr. Noa has never liked producing an odd episode out during a semester, so this situation almost guarentee's a season 5. Stay tuned.

So has the rumor mill considered the possibility that the next episode will not leave itself open to sequels? No idea if that's true, but it's just a thought.

Reply to the following comment I received on my blog.

"Regarding your comment on the HITMAN fan blog... the "cast and crew" of HITMAN have not much at all to do with how the show is run. The director of the SMN calls those shots. The truth is, if Mr. Noa wants it to keep going, it will keep going. If he wants to end it, it will end dramatically and stunningly. Just wait for Episode 3."

Ahh ok. I seen now. Thank you very much for your comment. I can't wait for Episode 3. :-D I have had the pleasure of played a small part in several backyard movie productions, and knowing just a bit about what goes on behind the sceens makes watching HTAMAN that much more fun. Best wishes to the SMN in your next episode...and beyond!

I must say. Daniel Noa has outdone himself. This is by far the best thing I've ever seen written and directed by Daniel. It was an incredible ending. The Christ analogy is so perfectly represented as well. It is sad to see Hitman be finished, but I am sure Daniel will continue writing and directing quality entertainment for years to come. Good job Daniel, and the rest of the people who have made Hitman possible. It was an exciting journey!
