A Veritable Flood...
Elven Princess, just because I'm the Lady in Black does not mean that I have any less homework than the rest of you. I can only post when my schedule permits. At the moment, my schedule is less than cooperative, but your comment galled me into action.
Today, I find that my sources have truly outdone themselves. One writes to tell us:
"The first filming for season 3 began last weekend.
The first episode involves the use of green screen, a
pitched terrorist fight of some sort, and will be set
in winter." - This corroborates with John Crutcher's ASE asking for camouflage clothing and Mr. Noa's recent casting call asking for "commandos." The ASE also mentioned that John will be handling a lot of the combat filming for the new season. I applaud Mr. Noa for his excellent taste in that regard. John is sure to give us both realism and good action. I am also quite interested by their use of green-screen technology: the production company is clearly going all-out to give us an excellent show this spring.
"Producer/Director/Writer Daniel Noa was heard saying
that Emily Holmes's agent (named in the credits of the
all-in-one DVD edition as "Agent Thorn") is still
alive and will be filmed soon (this weekend??)" - Ah, so one of our old favorites will be return after all. I am glad.
I have also become recently aware of the fact that Robert Hogan will be the new cinematographer, replacing last season's Jennifer Pinkerton. My source tells us to "expect a new look," and I truly hope that this means the production quality will be even more excellent than it was last spring. This same source also informed me that my recent leak concerning the Balkans was a mistake...it had been taken from an old, discarded script and had nothing at all to do with Season 3.
Saving the best for last: A spy planted deep within the production company has revealed this tasty morsel: RED FOX'S BROTHER ISN'T DEAD! Of course, this tidbit does little else for us except make us salivate for more information. True, thinking back on the episode which dealt with the younger Fox's "death," you never saw him (Matt Roche) actually shot, or declared dead. But there does seem to be a lot you can't get around: if he's not dead, who's body did they find in his room? How did he get away? Did Hitman let him escape? Why didn't he return earlier? Was he really shot, but not killed? Did the "three bullets lodged in his brain" line refer to the fact that he'd suffered brain-damage but not death? Was the brother "in" with Hitman the whole time? (That seems unlikely, seeing as he fought with him before his "death" and alerted CTU of the assassin's presence) We wait on the edge of our seats for the confirmation of this leak. Meanwhile, what do you think? The Real Director would be happy to entertain any of our fan's theories...

Fox's brother not dead?!? I'm his partner- I SAW the body! It was a pretty spare funeral; only a few close friends.
Our men were at the scene. They went over that dorm room with everything their little white gloves could handle. THEY BAGGED A WATER BOTTLE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! You think they'd do such a close investigation if it wasn't a murder case?
Point is, these guys are thorough. They're not just going to miss something like, oh, him NOT being dead. What about all the ketchup- UH, blood all over those nice white gloves? Looks like a grusome, close range shooting to me.
And hey, I would know.

P.S. Remember, this is classified. I can find even you if necessary. And we wouldn't want things to get... unpleasant, now, would we?
Ah, friend, threats are so unpleasant...though you really have nothing to worry about.
As to our latest hint, yes, it is all a bit puzzling. Which makes me wonder if my dear spy is trying to pull the wool over my eyes, YET AGAIN. He/she/it has a taste for practical jokes. Spreading false information would be just like him...so take whatever you read here with a grain of salt. After all, all the Lord of the Rings websites had us believing that Arwen would be the tenth member of the Fellowship for a while there...I just publish what I get.
People "planted within the production team" ruin movies - my goodness. I hope Daniel isn't plagued by this kind of spying and insider turncoating in a future filmmaking career.
The amount is admirable. The veracity is questionable. But you did say that we should take it with a grain of salt. Comendable. No matter, I think that this season will be full of interesting tidbits despite the "inside information."
